Why did you decide BMO was right for you and why do you love working here?

I heard about the positive culture of the organization and the role that was presented to me was very exciting. It is exciting to work for a company that aspires to be innovative, giving employees an opportunity to participate in this innovation and helping them to develop leadership capabilities.

What has helped you in your career development and what lessons have you learned along the way as you explored new opportunities at BMO?

My ability to work in partnership with other teams and bringing cross functional teams together to achieve a common goal. As well as developing connections and networking with people across the organization. The lessons I have learned along the way is to always be open-minded about new opportunities.

What are you currently working on that is helping you build on different skills?

I am currently working with BMO Harris, BMO Canada and Wealth Management to enable an integrated customer experience. Learning about how the different lines of business support their customers provides a brand new perspective of our business and allows us to find ways for us to unite to serve our customers in a more integrated fashion.

What is your proudest moment working at BMO, especially as we celebrate BMO200 & what excites you about the year ahead?

My proudest moments working at BMO include how we’ve given back to our customers and to our communities.

I love working for BMO because of the collaboration and the commitment to deliver a great customer experience. As a team we successfully launched a new capability that demonstrates we know and value our customers. It was done together with a large cross functional team from across the bank, including members from branches, call centres, technology, salesforce effectiveness and marketing.

I’m also proud that the Customer Analytics team achieved 100% participation and exceeded our financial goal for this year’s BMO Employee Giving campaign. It shows BMO’s and their commitment and belief in giving back to our communities.
