Leaders as Role Models

Our Leadership Committee for Inclusion & Diversity, made up of senior leaders from across BMO, has developed a bold multi-year strategy to drive performance by being the leader in diversity and inclusion.

We are committed to achieving industry leadership by diversifying our Board, senior leadership, and across all levels of the organization, through innovative talent practices and diverse workforce representation goals.

Learn from Difference

Leaders and employees from across BMO were tapped to co-create a multi-year learning experience – “Learn From Difference”. It starts with understanding the value of diversity and inclusion and the importance of being aware of your own biases. This enables us to speak up and change the conversation, so that we can all take action and create an environment where we can learn from each other’s differences.

Employee Engagement

Our 11 Enterprise Resource Groups (ERGs) bring together people with similar affinities to act as local change agents within BMO. From BMO Pride and BMO without Barriers to the Latino Alliance and the Veterans Advisory Council, ERGs help us to ensure that all our people and customers feel valued and respected.
